In three words: a balanced whole.

The eleven (strong) songs on Passengers contain variation: rock, folk, ballads, uptempo, beautiful sung harmonies, traditional instruments. The lead vocals of Heather Findlay, together with Bryan Josh give a special dimension to the Mostly Autumn-sound. I can't find a negative thing on this album, every time I hear the songs they keep enjoying me: there is no boredom! I can review each song, but, in my opinion, I think that isn't necessary. Listen for yourself!

Well, some highlights then on this album: the opening song "Something In Between" walks in the room after a short intro as if it would say: "Here we are, can we have your attention please!!" Powerful!!
The same one can say about "Pure White Light": a fine melodic rocksong, and "Caught In A Fold" brings you back in the 70's! Great Hammond, but I prefer more overdrive in the Leslie!! (I can't have it all, can I ?)
Special attention for "Passengers", the title-track brings back Pink Floyd-memories, and one must see that as a great compliment!
Finally, "Pass The Clock" has beautiful Steve Hackett- and Genesis-influences, as well as pure (symphonic) rock.

Yes, this album is strongly recommended to everyone with a Classic Rock-mind!!
